§ 5.22.110. City to effect tax collection—Recreation board authorized to collect proceeds.

The city shall duly effect the collections of the tax proceeds hereby assigned and their transmittal to representatives of the recreation board authorized to receive the same as from time to time designated by it. For the purpose of supplementing such obligations imposed on the city and its officials and of effecting the performance of such obligations, the recreation board be, and it hereby is, authorized and empowered to collect the proceeds of the city license taxes assigned by this chapter, and to receive, control, invest and order the lawful expenditure of funds pertaining thereto, and to enforce by all appropriate and lawful means the provisions of this chapter.
